As the lead UX designer for Market Rewards, I was responsible for designing a web and mobile application that rewards customers for shopping at Market of Choice, a popular grocery store chain in the Pacific Northwest. The app also allows customers to create shopping lists and find local events, such as cooking classes and wine tastings.

Customers are shopping at other stores that offer rewards for loyalty.
Design and launch an app that rewards repeat shoppers. By earning points for purchases, customers receive personalized offers and events based on their lifestyle choices. These rewards improve as the user unlocks higher reward tiers.

Overall, the Market Rewards app has been a successful product launch for Market of Choice, leading to increased customer participation, revenue, and loyalty. The positive feedback from customers shows that the app is meeting their needs and providing value to their shopping experience.
To design the Market Rewards app, I followed a user-centered design process that included research, ideation, prototyping, and testing. I conducted user interviews and surveys to understand the needs and pain points of Market of Choice customers. From there, I created user personas and conducted usability testing to validate my design decisions.
The Market Rewards app is designed with the user in mind. The app rewards customers with points for every purchase they make at Market of Choice, and those points can be redeemed for discounts and other rewards. The app also includes a shopping list feature, which allows customers to easily create and manage their grocery lists. Finally, the app includes a local events section that highlights events taking place at Market of Choice stores.
Market Rewards has a clean and modern aesthetic that reflects the Market of Choice brand. The app features a simple and intuitive interface with bold typography and bright colors. I also created custom icons and graphics to enhance the user experience.
To create a seamless and intuitive user experience, I designed the interaction patterns for the Market Rewards app. For example, I designed a simple checkout process that allows customers to quickly and easily redeem their rewards points. I also created a clear and easy-to-use navigation system that makes it easy for customers to find the features they need.
I worked closely with the Market Rewards product team, developers, and stakeholders to bring the app to life. I facilitated design sprints and brainstorming sessions to ensure that the app was meeting the needs of Market of Choice customers. I also collaborated with the development team to ensure that the design was implemented correctly and to address any issues that arose.
Throughout the design process, I communicated my design decisions and rationale to stakeholders. I created design documentation and wireframes to ensure that the team was aligned on the app's design and functionality. I also presented my designs to stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that everyone was on the same page.
